Diasaskan oleh pengusaha jam tangan Encik Lee Wang Keong sewaktu pemerintahan kolonial Inggeris pada tahun 1955, Syarikat Jam Swee Cheong membuka kedai jam independen pertamanya di Jalan Ismail yang terletak di pusat bandar Kota Bharu. Berasaskan pengalaman terdahulu dan pandangan jauh ke hadapan, Encik Lee berjaya mendapatkan sijil pengedar sah Rolex dan beliau mula memperkenalkan negeri Kelantan kepada jenama jam tangan Switzerland yang inovatif ini. Sejak itu, syarikat initerus berkembang secara progresif dari ruangan pameran jam tangan Rolex di butik di kompleks beli-belah KB Mall pada tahun 2004 sehingga berjaya membuka gerbang butik \u2018flagship\u2019 Rolex di AEON Mall Kota Bharu, Kelantan pada 2016. Hari ini, legasi Encik Lee diteruskan di bawah pimpinan anaknya Encik Lee Kum Chuan, yang mengikuti jejak langkah ayahnya sambil memacu syarikat ke tahap yang lebih tinggi pada masa hadapan.<\/p>\n
