Diinspirasikan oleh salah satu jam tangan Rolex pertama yang dipasang dengan rotor Perpetual, 1908 termasuk dalam koleksi Perpetual. Koleksi ini dilancarkan pada 2023 sebagai garapan semula gaya horologi tradisional yang disemai dengan kepakaran pembuatan jam tangan yang asli dan warisan estetika Rolex. Jam tangan yang elegan dan sederhana ini dinamakan '1908' sebagai penghormatan kepada tahun Hans Wilsdorf mencipta nama 'Rolex' untuk menandatangani ciptaannya dan mendaftarkan jenama itu di Switzerland. 1908 diserlahkan oleh reka bentuk yang menyampaikan kekuatan sebenar watak jam tangan melalui kesederhanaan paparan. Model ini merangkumi semangat koleksi Perpetual dengan sempurna berteraskan apresiasi seni pembuatan jam dalam bentuk yang paling tulen.<\/p>\n

Jam tangan 1908 menampilkan permukaan yang bergaya dihiasi dengan angka Arab 3, 9 dan 12 serta penanda jam indeks sesegi. Jarum jam direka dengan gaya Breguet, sementara jarum minit pula memiliki bentuk seperti pedang dua mata. Di atas pembilang saat kecil pada pukul 6, \u2018Superlative Chronometer\u2019 terukir dalam bentuk melengkung.<\/p>\n

1908 mempunyai penutup 39 mm, dengan garis yang indah dan bahagian belakang yang lut sinar memaparkan keindahan gerakan yang halus itu serta menyaksikan putaran pemberat berayun. Lengkungan cuping penutup tengah diserlahkan dengan serongan lembut pada tepian atas, manakala bezel dibahagikan kepada bahagian bawah dihiasi dengan ukiran elegan dan bahagian atas berbentuk melengkung. Diperbuat daripada nilam yang hampir kalis calar sepenuhnya, kristal berkubah dan belakang penutup lut sinar, dibantu oleh salutan antireflektif. Dijamin kalis air hingga kedalaman 50 meter (165 kaki), penutup memberikan perlindungan optimum untuk gerakan yang terletak di bahagian dalam. Versi yang dipersembahkan ini diperbuat daripada emas kuning 18 karat.<\/p>\n

Versi 1908 yang dipersembahkan ini dipadankan dengan rantai Settimo. Rantai logam baharu yang diperbuat daripada emas kuning 18 karat memancarkan kehalusan dan keanggunan. Seperti semua jam tangan Rolex, Perpetual 1908 dilindungi oleh pensijilan Kronometer Superlatif yang ditakrifkan semula oleh Rolex pada tahun 2015.
